Partnering with Local Business Advocacy Groups

A cornerstone of local NCBER census projects is the partnership with a leading, local business advocacy group or groups. Candidates are selected in consultation with the leadership of IEDC.

The selected group or groups will have the opportunity to become the local sponsor. This census will provide the sponsoring group with a continuous stream of near real-time information on the local economy and business climate. This sponsorship requires no investment from the selected Business Advocacy group(s).

  • Targets all local businesses with 25 or more employees
  • 20%-35% response rate
  • 50-60 data points collected per interview
  • Includes local custom questions and clusters
  • Includes real-time web dissemination and analysis tools
  • Includes questionnaire design, testing and CATI programming
  • Includes census marketing & promotion
  • Includes significant in-kind and direct investments to sponsor
  • Sponsor has access to all data and information
