NCBER executes large-scale business census projects gathering critical economic development data and early warning relocation and expansion alerts.
We continuously engage from 20%-35% of all local firms with 25 or more employees.
We have been gathering detailed, actionable business intelligence from two million businesses since 1996. No US Company has more experience in this field.
Developed with and endorsed by IEDC, these projects are always free of charge to qualifying local business advocacy groups. The projects are funded by providing detailed, real-time intelligence to economic development stakeholders such as banks, insurance and commercial real estate firms.
The result is a continuous stream of world-class intelligence and trend information that includes data on growth barriers, expansion & relocation plans, job creation and destruction, export, ownership and more.
A by-product of our census projects is real-time, early warning relocation and shutdown alerts that are emailed directly to designated economic development offices.
Projects start generating actionable data within days of commencing with strategic report aggregates being produced within 4-6 weeks. A census cycle lasts for six months at which time we start the cycle over again.
