NCBER executes large-scale business census projects gathering critical economic development data and early warning relocation and expansion alerts.
We continuously engage from 20%-40% of all local firms with 25 or more employees. NCBER's parent company, ERISS Corporation, has been gathering detailed, actionable business intelligence from over two million businesses since 1996. No U.S. company has more experience in this field than we do.
Co-developed with and endorsed by the International Economic Development Council and the American Chamber of Commerce Executives, these projects are free of charge to qualifying local business advocacy groups. The projects are funded by providing detailed, real-time intelligence to economic development stakeholders such as banks, insurance and commercial real estate firms.
The result is a continuous stream of world-class intelligence and trend information that includes data on growth barriers, expansion & relocation plans, job creation and destruction, export, ownership and more.
Projects start generating actionable data within days of commencing with strategic report aggregates being produced within 4-6 weeks and approximately every quarter there after. A census cycle lasts for six months at which time we start the cycle over again.
